The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Cvetan Tripunovski, stated that the Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry operate under strict rules that must be followed.
"In terms of previous investigations, I have no information whether there is an outcome. Surely, when there is, the public will be informed. What I can emphasize in this interview is that the Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy operate under strict rules that must be respected," the minister highlighted in an interview with Radio Free Europe.
"The Ministry and the Agency work with zero tolerance regarding misuse of funds. The entire process is conducted transparently," the minister explained.
He called on all citizens who have knowledge of possible irregularities to report them, after which appropriate measures will be immediately taken.
"The Agency itself and the audit body regularly conduct checks regarding payments of IPARD applications, aiming to eliminate any misuse," added Minister Tripunovski.
According to him, misuse of funds will not be tolerated, and the rules for fund allocation will be strictly observed.
